Present Space

Present Space is a series of video installations dispersed across the exhibition space. Each installation responds to the spatial conditions of its location by presenting spatial fragments extracted from a moving-image database using an AI system.

As viewers encounter the works, they become aware of the overlap and resonance between the spaces depicted on screen and the spaces their bodies physically inhabit. The temporal and spatial dimensions of the moving image extend beyond the flat surface of the screen into the exhibition environment, where they intersect with the viewer’s embodied experience.
