White Fabric, Threads, and Found ObjectsInstallationSite-specific2025

Art’s Finest is a reality show that combines both competition and collaboration among artists. Participants are required to complete their works within a week and are only allowed to bring materials on the first day, these materials immediately become communal property.

White Fabric, Threads, and Found Objects was created within this framework. Over the course of seven days, repetitive stitching actions were performed as a means of practicing and advancing sewing techniques, serving as a way to observe the relationship between time and the body. The growing maturity of the threads became a visible trace, marking both the accumulation of skill and the passage of time. In response to the exhibition’s rules, objects and materials by other participants were gathered, and on the final day, the patchwork was fully stitched together, sealing the found objects within it.
